As part of their services, Mordi & Co provide advice and representation in the areas of Immigration, Nationality, Human Rights and Asylum.


The following fee structures are exclusive of VAT except where stated:
 

  1. Entry Clearance Applications

  • Tier 4 applications - Fees from £500.

  • Visitors (tourist) - Fees from £800.

  • Visitors (family visit) - Fees from £1000.

  • Visitors (Business visit) - Fees from £1500.

  • Spouse application - Fees from £1500

  • Adult dependant relatives - Fees from £2000

  • Visitors (medical) - Fees from £2000

  • Others (subject to agreement).

 

  1. In Country Applications (limited leave to remain)

  • Tier 4 renewal - Fees from £800.

  • Visitor’s visa extension - Fees from £2000

  • Spouse visa renewal - Fees from £1500

  • Discretionary Leave renewal - Fees from £1500

  • Leave on Human Right grounds renewal - Fees from £1500

  • Protection Leave renewal - Fees from £1500

  • Application for Leave on Human Rights grounds - Fees from £2000

  • Application for Leave based on long residency - Fees from £2000

  • Application outside of the Immigration Rules - Fees from £2000

  • Tier 1,2 and 5 applications - Fees from £2500

 

  1. In country applications (Indefinite leave to remain)

    • Spouse application - Fees from £2500

    • Human Rights - Fees from £3000

    • Long residency - Fees from £3000

    • Tier 1, 2 and 5 - Fees from £3000

 

  1. Asylum & Protection Applications

  • Asylum and protection applications - Fees are charged per hourly rate.

 

  1. Nationality Applications

  • Registration as a British citizen - Fees from £2000 plus VAT.

  • Naturalisation as a British citizen - Fees from £2000 plus VAT.

 

  1. EEA applications

  • Residence document EEA national - Fees from £1000

  • Residence card as EEA family member - Fees from £1500

  • Permanent residence document for EEA national - Fees from £2000

  • Permanent residence card as EEA family member - Fees from £2000

 

  1. Litigation, Appeal and Judicial review

  • Fee earners’ time are charged per hour depending on their experience

  • Telephone and letters are charged at 10% of the hourly rate

 

Factors which may cause an increase to standard Fees
 

Fees may be the subject of an increased in the following situations:

  1. The complexity of the matter involving detailed legal research

  2. Lengthy representation and/or submissions

  3. The number of applicants involved in the application

  4. The volume of documents involved.

  5. The need to involve, instruct and obtain an expert report

 

Immigration, Nationality, Asylum & Asylum Team


Anthony Mordi. A Solicitor and Partner.  She was admitted in 2000 with 18 years post qualifying experience. Current hourly rate is £350.

Avis Johnson.  A Solicitor and Partner.  She was admitted in 2002 with 16 years post qualifying experience. Current hourly rate is £350

King Wyn. Consultant Barrister (non-practicing). He is a member of Lincolns Inn having been called to the English Bar in 2002. He has been working as a specialist Immigration, nationality, human rights and Asylum adviser and advocate ever since. He was the Principal of Wynnas Law Chamber (a specialist level 3 Immigration firm) between 2003 and 2007. He joined Mordi & Co in 2007 and his current time charge for litigation, appeal and judicial review is £350 per hour.
